Team WILD: Women Inspiring Life with Diabetes, exists to support and inspire fitness, healthy living, and self-confidence in women of all ages with all types of diabetes. Through education, leading by example, community outreach, and sponsoring virtual teams of women training for athletic events, Team WILD demonstrates that having diabetes can be an inspiration rather than an obstacle to achieving ones athletic and fitness goals.Team WILD is a project of the Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association.

I love it! Reminds me of the Olympic Games in Barcelona. There was a swimmer from central Africa. the only pool he had to swim in was 20m. He was in a 100m pool and was dead last. The WHOLE crowd gave him a standing ovation. He finished way behind everyone else, but was the sweetheart of the day.
